MY WRITING LIFE

I have written six books about food and well-being, and held senior editorial positions with Cosmopolitan (India) and Femina, India’s largest-selling magazine for women. My work has appeared in Conde Nast Traveller (UK & India), Yoga Journal, American Fitness, Travel + Leisure, The Asian Age, Moneycontrol and New Indian Express, among others.

A topper in English Literature from Miranda House, Delhi University, I hold a Diplome de Langue in French from Alliance Française de Delhi.

In 2012, I launched Travel Secrets, a vibrant magazine that sources its stories from locals and globetrotters worldwide. TS has taken me places, and how! From the fairy-tale landscapes of Quebec to the gel-blue waters of the French Riviera, the coffee-scented estates of Coorg to the beer gardens of Belgium… The magazine has introduced me to new people, cultures and ideas across the globe. It continues to be an intoxicating ride. Do stop by to check out our website, where we have lovingly put together hundreds of handpicked travel gems for you.

RANDOM THINGS ABOUT ME

I live in New Delhi. Deprive me of coffee and I’ll sleep for 72 hours straight. I never miss a work deadline. My friends are my rocks. I belong to the YOLO club, in a good way. My pro tip for beating writer’s block: set a timer.
